iEmaki "momotaro"

There was once a little boy called Momotaro, a name given to him for being born from a giant peach. The story goes that he was brought up by a little old man and a little old lady, and when he grew up, he went to an island accompanied by a dog, a monkey and a pheasant, to fight against some demons. He then took the demons treasure and returned home. This is one of the most famous folk tales in Japan. Within the story, the little old lady makes sweets made of sticky mochi rice called kibidango, which Momotaro also offers to the animals.

Emakimono or Emaki -- the Picture Scroll-- is a form of traditional Japanese painting, made by joining together pieces of paper lengthwise and going in a horizontal direction, used for creating a long picture depicting continuous scenes or stories. This iPad application replicates this by allowing you to scroll sideways on the screen.

It is very easy to play. Simply scroll the screen and touch the pictures. The pictures will then do things like move or play a sound. You can adjust the sound settings with the button on the bottom right hand corner.
Go ahead and enjoy!
